Your writing,
just better.

Select text in any app and press one shortcut. A small AI model on your own Mac fixes the grammar, cuts the filler, or changes the tone, and puts the result back where it was. Nothing leaves your Mac. It works with the Wi-Fi off.

Setup

Set it up in a minute.
Then forget it is there.

Three steps, once. Neat lives in the menu bar and waits.

  1. Open Neat

Drag it to Applications and open it. It appears in the menu bar and nowhere else. No Dock icon, no window to keep.

  2. Allow it to read the selection

One switch in System Settings ▸ Accessibility. That is how Neat reads what you selected and writes the result back, in any app.

  3. Let the model download

About 1 GB, once. After that Neat needs no connection at all, and no account, ever.

From then on: select text, press N

The palette opens at your cursor. Fix grammar and De-slop also have keys of their own.

In place

Select it.
Press it.
Done.

The selected text is replaced where it sits. You never open Neat, paste anything, or leave the app you were writing in. Every change can be previewed first, and undone after.

Questions

What happens after the seven days?

Neat pauses and asks for a key. Nothing is uninstalled and nothing is lost. Buy once, paste the key, and carry on.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After the one-time model download, Neat needs no connection at all. Your text never leaves your Mac.

How does the license work?

One key, up to five Macs. Each Mac takes a seat when you paste the key, and you can free a seat from Settings on that Mac at any time.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Every change shows a Revert button, and the last ten are kept. You can also turn on a preview, so nothing changes until you press Replace.

What does it need to run?

A Mac with Apple Silicon on macOS 14 or later, about 1 GB of disk for the model, and the Accessibility permission so it can read your selection.
